Change of managing partners BUREN

The international corporate law firm BUREN is pleased to announce that Cees-Frans Greeven and Martijn Vermeeren have been appointed as managing partners effective as of January 1st 2021. They have succeeded Paul Deloo and Pieter van den Berg who held these positions for a four year term.

Cees-Frans Greeven and Martijn Vermeeren:

Next to serving as managing partner, both Cees-Frans Greeven and Martijn Vermeeren shall continue to assist their respective clients and practices.

Cees-Frans Greeven, brings an international corporate experience of more than 25 years and focuses on advising clients on the Dutch and Luxembourg aspects of corporate and PE/VC transactions, including spin-offs, international restructurings and corporate joint ventures. He also works with institutional and private clients on issues related to investment management. Cees-Frans serves as the resident partner in the Luxembourg office.

Martijn Vermeeren is regarded as one of Netherland’s leading restructuring and insolvency advisers. He has been appointed as court’s trustee in numerous complex insolvencies such as retail Miss Etam and the Ruwaard van Putten Hospital. He advises clients on pre-insolvency situations and related corporate transactions.
